American MidWest Sprint Series will be at Mt. Vernon this Sat. nite, along with UMP Mods $ 650 to win,UMP Pro Crates $ 500 to win,Street Stock/Sportsmen,and 4 cylinder Hornets (any time 24 or more $ 200 to win) with 24 going to feature. Adults will be $ 12, Senoirs $10 ,12- under are Free. Grandstands open at 4pm, Pit gate open at 3pm. Pit price is $30. 12-under are $10 in pits with waviers being signed.

WDML radio will be at the track with a live remote from 4-6 pm. Sprint series is being sponsored by Dale's Harley Davidson in Mt.Vernon along with A-K Printing of Mt. Vernon.
Rick's Towing will be sponsoring the Crate Cars $75 to start $ 500 to win.

July 29th will be our UMP Super Late Model Special $ 1200 to win with $ 125 to start.

Im pretty positive they're running Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stock/Sportsmans or they seperate when either class gets i wanna say 12 or 14 for one class and also running 4 cyl.
 
Rick announced saturday that on the 29th latemodels, crates, mods, and hornets would be running on the 29th no street stocks or sportsmans.
 
This American Sprint Car Tour (A.S.C.T.) event is guaranteed to pay $1000 to win and $225 to start. Glad to see some sponsors stepping up to help with this event.

ASCT was organized this year as a steel block non wing sprint tour. They booked as many dates as they could to bring sprint cars to fans who do not get to see them at their local track. The learning curve has been quite steep. Aluminum block 410's now comprise most of the fields. Hopefully ASCT will return next year with a tuned up schedule.
 
ASCT MAKES FIRST VISIT TO MT. VERNON, IL SATURDAY NIGHT


The American Sprint Car Tour is back in action this Saturday night at the ¼ mile high-banked dirt oval of the Mount Vernon Raceway in Mount Vernon Illinois. This will be the first visit to the facility for the ASCT and the first time in a few years that Sprint Cars have raced at the track as well.

The Winner of the 25 Lap A-Main will take home $1000 and it will pay $225 just to start the Feature event. There is $100 guaranteed tow money to any car that does not start the A-Main and $100 guaranteed to the highest finishing steel block car in the Feature for the Earl’s Indy “Tough as Steel” Award.

The A-Main Pay-out and Tow money has been guaranteed by the track promoters and Mount Vernon Raceway.

A-Main Pay-out: 1000,500,450,400,350,325,300,275,250,240, (11-20) $225.

sorry we wont make it this Sat due to damage recieved last week in the Heat race , its a shame but we will be back soon 07 DRT racing
