Let me please stop these rumors. My decision to not run the COC series was from a business standpoint, and I just do not feel like , with school back in, alot of the racers at MVN work during the week, I just would not have had the crowd it takes to pay out a $ 21,000 purse, no the bank has not took over the track. I'm not even behind on the payments. No Lomax is not running the track the rest of the year.The track will be open on Sat night, until the end of the season. I'll see the fans and racers Sat night. Thanks Rick Heck

at least Rick has the balls to get on the net and post the reason he is not running it. Most promoters would not even say anything. WHY TO GO RICK. Give the man credit for saying "Hey I am not losing money for nobody"

Your right, at least he'snot waiting till everyone pays their money to see the race then cancel. then not refund the money. Or change the program after everyone pays. It's happened more than once. You have to pay the drivers top money to get them to come. Also refund money back to the fans when promised, not like last year.
