:mad: I know their was a threat of rain in the area last night. But Rick Heck could of looked at all the guys who drove a couple of hours to get to his track. Now do you think all of these guys would be back NOT. You know he probbly did call this off becouse Melvin not set FAST TIME:eek: ! I think he should of eather cancelled or raced not just hot lap and time trial. the cancell. I know wheir were not some happy drivers and fans, I think he had all of these drivers thier and out just race. After he cancelled the Moon came out and it was a nice night. I knew i should of went to Highland. It will be along time before i go back to this track. I hope they dont get the car count they would like to have. But then they probbly cancelled becouse their was no one thier.:rolleyes: :confused: :eek: :mad: Where will Mt.Melvin go saturday MT.Melvin or Pevely???
 
I'd like to let you know Melvin did set fast time With Kreke 2nd . The track always tries to get the race in if there is anyway possible and safe they will do it!!!!!! I can't believe that so many people are so jelous about Melvin and the same way about English last year! If your favorite driver came to a track and the guys would slow down to let them win that would make me mad If I was driving and people would slow down to let me win That would make me feel like crap !!
 
I agree Jimmy. I'm definately not a Melvin fan, many other drivers I like better, but if I remember Rodney DID have the fast time at 13.94. And yeah the moon came out, about 3 HOURS later. When a driver like Bobby Bittle can only post a 17 something in qualifying, you know the track is too slick to race. None of the modified driovers at the end of the qualifying line were able to run good times, so everyone will be requalifying tonight.
 
Don't know what you are talking about

I personnelly talked to several drivers and they agreed that the track was not safe to run on.
Jimmy thanks for the post some people just have to try and put something down.
If they don't agree with what happens.

The track was not safe to run on at the time that the racing was called

JD i have to agree -- dumb dumb- And i five thumbs up to Rick he has done all he can to keep that track open --- just take a look at the 4cyl. class and count the Hecks in that class - :D
