NASCAR vs. ZZZZZZZZZZZ

I finally figured it out. Last Sunday I sat in my recliner to watch another boring NASCAR Nextel Cup race and I fell asleep. All week long I have been looking for the results of the race. And to my surprise, "there was no race." So I didn't miss another boring race. There was NO boring race.

I did read that the California Speedway drew 20,000 LESS people than the previous races. Maybe that is why NASCAR is trying the Mexico circuit.

Pitboss - I have a suggestion for you. If you don't like NASCAR, watch something else. Seems like a pretty simple solution. Doesn't your TV have a channel changer? You might be able to catch some golf or tennis or something you might find a bit more exciting than NASCAR. If not, maybe go for a walk or something. This constant bytching about NASCAR being boring is getting very old. Really. FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO!!!!!

The true NASCAR fans have a right to their opinions, especially when remembering how good the races use to be. Much of NASCAR's roots have faded away; it's hard to keep watching while we know it's being changed into a completely different kind of racing. So for those of us who have grown up with it, we have every right to be disappointed.

MS2 - I grew up watching NASCAR too. If you knew me you would not be able to even come close to implying that I am not a "true NASCAR fan." It is true, times are changing some things for the better and some things for the worse. But, we all have choices. Either roll with it or quit watching. Simple as that!
