SNOHOMISH, Wash. -- The Ditzfeld Transfer Missouri Summer Nationals to benefit The Michael Ross Memorial Foundation will be held on June 21, 2006 as the stars of the National Sprint Tour invade The Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia, MO. As in past years, all proceeds from the race will go to the Michael Ross Memorial Foundation.

Promoter Tony Ross of Midwest Racing Promotions commented, “I’m looking forward to the National Sprint Tour and the competition it will bring to the Ditzfeld Transfer Missouri Summer Nationals here at Missouri State Fairgrounds. They are bringing a large group of the worlds best sprint car drivers. The facilities are in great condition, certainly big enough to put on this event and the racing should be just great.”

“Along with the National Sprint Tour and some of the best 410 sprint car racing in the nation, we will also be running the Winged Outlaw Warriors, with one or more celebrity drivers, and a Celebrity Late Model race during the evenings racing program.”

“The Celebrity Late Model race, features national sports celebrities going wheel to wheel and having a great time. We already have commitments from several people including NHRA’s Gary Scelzi and Ron Capps, NASCAR’s Dave Marcus and well-known TV commentators Matt Yocum and Ralph Sheheen.”

The National Sprint Tour is looking forward to being a part of this special event and its worthy cause.
