The 2018 FASTRAK World Championship is set for October 6th at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, VA. It is the richest single day in all of Pro Late Model racing, with $20,000 going to the winner of the 60-lap event. The total purse for the Saturday night feature is over $59,000. There will also be at least one non-qualifiers race for those drivers who do not qualify for the 30-car field. The FASTRAK World Championship is open to all Pro Late Model teams.
The ½ mile track will host the FASTRAK World Challenge on Friday night, October 5th, which will pay $5,000 to win. The World Challenge is for FASTRAK members only who have competed in a minimum of seven FASTRAK sanctioned events throughout the season. Teams competing on Saturday only will be given a minimum of one hot lap session on Friday night in preparation for the World Championship.
