Join the O'Reilly Gang along with the MLRA and NCRA Racers as they join forces to bring you the 2nd Annual Al Bodenhamer Memorial Event to be held on Wednesday Aug. 25,2004.
Racing will get under way at 7:30 pm with the Gates opening at 5
m $2500.00 to the Winner of the Latemodels.
A special event has been added as the Race Engine Manufacturers will present a Dash for Cash for the MLRA & NCRA participants. Each Manufacturer will determine who will represent their Race Engines in the event.
Track Owners Glenn and Collene Portzen will host their Hobby Stock Class as a tribute to the many years that Al Bodenhamer strive to bring racing to the Missouri area. "Al felt that Racers needed a place to begin their racing careers" stated Glenn
Al Bodenhamer was a Racer first and foremost, a track operator and track owner and a Speed Shop owner. His Son Jason continues today to lead the way in Racing, currently 2nd in the chase for the O'Reilly MLRA 2004 Point Championship as well as in 3rd place with the O'Reilly NCRA in their run for the Championship title.
Jason Bodenhamer will drive the #2B GRT Bodies by Bodee Latemodel sponsors include Chris Hitchcock Motorsports, Real Wheels, Sunoco Oil, Buzzard Racing Engines, Cannon Electric, Lindsey Transmissions, Charlea's Race Decals, Pit Pal Accessories, Cabinets, and Tire Racks.
Stop by after the races and meet Jason, Jackie and Captain Morgan along with Mother Debbie Bodenhamer and other members of the Al Bodenhamer Family they are your Host's for tonights event in honor of Al Bodenhamer.
