Paducah International Raceway Salvation Army Car Show Rescheduled

(Paducah Ky.) Paducah International Raceway and The Salvation Army have rescheduled the car show for Saturday March 7, 2009 at the Salvation Army location on Irvin Cobb Drive next to Wal-Mart. The car show scheduled for February 28th had to be cancelled due to weather. The start time for this event will be 10:00am on the 7th and will run until 2:00pm.

The Paducah International Raceway show car will be in attendance along with all classes of cars running at PIR. UMP Late Model, Modified, Pro Late Model, Street Stock, 4 Cylinder Warriors and the Kentucky Vintage Racing Association.
PIR employees will be in attendance to answer any questions concerning the up coming season.

The Season opener for Paducah International Raceway is scheduled for March 27. We will be running the following classes UMP Late Model, Modified, Pro Late Model, Street Stock and the 4 Cylinder Warriors.

NASCAR Stars Dale Earnhardt, Jr, Ken Schrader, and Promoter Bob Sargent purchased Paducah International Raceway in November of 2005. Two-time NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart joined the trio of Co-Owners as a partner in September of 2006. Paducah International Raceway races every Friday night and is located off Interstate 24 at exit 11 in Paducah, Kentucky.
