Paid practice for $50,000 to win FASTRAK World Championship; $3,000 to win on June 15th at VMS

The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance is amping up for the seventh points race of 2019 with the USA 100 at Virginia Motor Speedway, paying $3,000 to win and $275 to start on June 15th. It will be FASTRAK’s first visit to the ½ mile Jamaica, VA speed plant, as the series will return on July 20th for another $3,000 to win and then again on September 13th and 14th for the $50,000 to win, $2,050 to start 2019 FASTRAK World Championship.

Pro Late Model drivers will be competing for their share of over $12,500 on June 15th. It is the first opportunity the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will have to race at VMS. Drivers should take advantage of this “Paid Practice” ahead of the historic FASTRAK World Championship, boasting a total purse of over $162,000.

The “New Kid”, Carson Ferguson of Concord, NC has scored two consecutive wins with the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance and is the current points leader. He will look to continue his hot streak at Virginia Motor Speedway. Ferguson has finished in the top-five of all six races this season, including his two wins and two runner-up finishes. Nick Schlager, currently second in points, has compiled four top-five finishes so far in 2019. Michael Brown with three wins, Tim Vance, and Justin Hudspeth round out the top-five in the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance.

Virginia Motor Speedway is averaging 26 FASTRAK Pro Late Models this season. The tour drivers will have their hands full with the VMS regulars such as Corey Almond, Justin Williams, Matt Glanden, Davis Lipscombe, and Jared Powell. Justin Williams has won the last two races in the FASTRAK Pro Late Models at Virginia Motor Speedway.

Competitor gates will open at 12:00 PM with Spectator gates opening at at 4:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 5:30 PM with hot laps at 6:00 PM, Heats at 7:30 PM, and features are scheduled for 9:00 PM.

Adult general admission tickets $30; Seniors (60+) / Military $25; Students (13-17) $15; and children 12 and under FREE. Pit Passes (Regardless of age) $40. Pit passes will also get you a seat in the grandstands.

Plenty of free well-lit parking. Plenty of free dry camping spots (Up against the tree line). Family friendly concessions. 16" coolers allowed, no glass containers.

Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway is a 1/2 mile dirt oval track that is located on U.S. Route 17, eight miles north of Saluda, VA and 25 miles south of Tappahannock, VA in Jamaica, VA.
