After being postponed by record heat in July, The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will make its final trip to Virginia Motor Speedway before the $50,000 to win 2019 FASTRAK World Championship on Saturday, August 24th. The “Prelude to the World Championship” will pay $3,000 to win and $275 to start. It will be the last chance drivers on the FASTRAK Racing Series will have to visit the ½-mile oval before the historic FASTRAK World Championship.
“This is an opportunity for drivers to get what we call “paid practice” before the FASTRAK World Championship,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “it gives drivers the chance to feel out Virginia Motor Speedway with a good payout.”
The $50,000 to win 2019 FASTRAK World Championship is slated for September 13th and 14th at Virginia Motor Speedway. The richest race in Dirt Pro Late Model racing history boasts a total purse of $166,275. Drivers still have the opportunity to save $50 on their entry fee by pre-entering for the World Championship before September 1st. The form is available on fastrakracing.com.
