The MARS DIRTcar Series has just been informed that tire samples collected at each race co-sanctioned with the O'Reilly NCRA have come back negative for tire softening chemicals for race winners: Jeremy Payne, John Anderson and Kelly Boen.

Tire samples from each driver was sent off to an independent lab for testing on June 9, 2010. Copies of the results will be posted at the MARS DIRTcar Series trailer for driver inspection.

The MARS DIRTcar Series and the O'Reilly NCRA co-sanctioned the first ever Sunflower State Showdown at the Great American Dirt Track in Jetmore, KS. The $10,000 to win race was the richest late model race ever in the state of Kansas. Jeremy Payne won the June 4th qualifier and John Anderson would take the $10,000 top prize on June 5th.

Both series then moved to the Belleville High Banks Speedway in Belleville, KS on June 6th. Kelly Boen would take the win, his second of the season with the MARS DIRTcar Series.

The MARS DIRTcar Series began tire testing at every event for the 2010 season in an effort to maintain the fairness of competition for all race teams competing in MARS DIRTcar Series events.

Chemically altering tires in a MARS DIRTcar Series event will result in forfeit of driver's winnings and points for that race, a $4,000 fine and 6 month suspension from any UMP DIRTcar race.
