We recently lost two past members of the Highland racing community. Shorty Shumate was a stock car driver at Highland until he was badly injured in a car accident in the early 80's. Tim Klaus was an official of the SARA and the father of drivers Tracy, Wendy and Tim. Lets keep both of these families in our thoughts and prayers as they approach the Christmas season without their loved ones.
