The Bunker Hill club races on Saturday nights, flat dirt track and overall a nice facillity. I-70 (at the fairgrounds in Greenville) Races on Sunday afternoons, highbank concrete track once again a very nice facillity. Its free to watch and enter the pits. Bunker Hill usually has a higher car count, I-70 is growing slowly though. This weekend both tracks are closed for the Region5 race in Taylorville Il.

Dean, all Q.M.A tracks allow members to start practicing at the age of 4 1/2. All kids regardless have to attend novice training, to learn the flags, line up procedures etc. At age 5 they can start racing in the Novice class.Like any sport, All kids are different, some take to it fast some take longer to grasp everything. Its a blast to see a full class of 5 to 8 year olds line up to race

i remember when i used to race, todd rehg and others in the 80's, we raced in ofalon il, a little dirt track in il. seems like quatermidgets have come a long way.i think i had the first titanium car built till they outlawed it.man was some good time as i remember.

That's where I got started announcing races, '73 to '76.
