The region's annual best sprint car show of the season is this Saturday, Oct. 4th at the St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington... $5,000 to win! This is the one the sprint car guys gear up for all season long. Don't miss it!!!!! Gates open at 4 p.m. Saturday with racing around 7:30..
 
Well, Im normally a SFCR regular, but I think Im gonna head to Pevely Sat. for the huge late model race...I love watching sprints, but when you offer $15,000 to win, you get big names, and thats who I like seeing!!! But I hope Farmington has a dandy!!!
 
what classes are they running? let me know if there is a class I can race in, I will come down and race. Thanks in advance
 
I believe that it is only $3500 to win this year instead of $5000, but they were going to increase the purse further back than in previous years.
 
i'm sure its still 5,000 cause millsey is in with all them track promotors and pretty much knows what he is talking about, if it ain't 5,000 to win then there won't be near as many tehre as if it was 5,000, and plus does anybody think they are gonna get alot of 360's really? anwyays someone give us the confirmation ont eh 5,000 to win or not, if it ain't 5,000 to win i may be heading to pevely, and also how much it cost to get in the stands and pits?
 
I can tell you this, at one time they did discuss a $3,500 to win payout and increasing the pay throughout the field, but the last I was told was it was still $5,000... I'll check and make sure though.. Thanks Racechick..
