Quincy Raceways Announces Extended Race Season Schedule

Quincy Raceways Promoter Tony Rhinberger has announced the Fall Race Schedule featuring several Special Events featuring IMCA Late Models, Midwest All Star Series Sprint Cars, Modifieds, Sprint Invader 360 Sprint Cars, IMCA Stock Cars, KidModz, Hobby Stocks, Outlaw 600cc Mini Sprints, $5000 Demo Derby and even a Tractor Pull.

Labor Day Sunday, August 31 finds Rick’s Transit Repair Night featuring the Deery Brothers Summer Series for the J&J Steel IMCA Late Models going for a $2000 check. The Miller Lite Modifieds ($500 to Win), the Tim’s Machine Shop Hobby Stocks (250 to Win) and the new KidModz series will be the support classes.

Labor Day Monday, September 1 will be the $5000 to Win Demo Derby and Great American Trailer Race.
Sunday, September 7 will be Selby Implement Company Night featuring the Sprint Invaders 360 Sprints and the Budweiser J&J Steel IMCA Late Models racing for $1000 to Win. The Miller Lite Modifieds ($500 to Win) and the Outlaw 600cc Mini Sprints ($400 to Win) will be supporting the action.
Sunday, September 14 will be rescheduled KRNQ Radio and Pepsi Inside Track Radio Show presenting the $2500 to Win Tri-State Modified Shootout in a $13, 500 plus purse event. The Triple R Performance Engines Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars ($400 to Win) with State, Region and National Points being awarded and the Tim’s Machine Shop Hobby Stocks ($250 to Win) will also be on tap that evening.
Friday, September 19 finds the Illinois Farm Puller Association Illinois State Finals in the season ending event for that series.

Sunday, September 21 will put an exclamation point on the 2008 race season at Quincy Raceways as RSC Night at the Races will feature a second appearance of the O’Reilly Midwest All Star Sprint Series in a $2000 to Win, $200 to start event. The top three feature finishing 360 Sprint Cars will be awarded a Cash Bonus of $175, $125 and $100 for their feature event finishes. The Budweiser J&J Steel IMCA Late Models ($1000 to Win), The Triple R Performance Engines Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars ($400 to Win) with State, Region and National Points being awarded and the Tim’s Machine Shop Hobby Stocks ($250 to Win) will also be on tap that evening.
