Hey everyone! Well, the 2008 points season has concluded; the rules meeting was held last Saturday and it was probably the shortest in history! That's not a bad thing, though. More were interested in the test n tune that followed (LOL!).
The Awards Banquet was made as a seperate event and is now the Racer Appreciation/Awards Banquet. It is going to be held Saturday, November 1st starting at 6pm. It will be at Club 67, 7036 U.S. Highway 67, which is connected to the Red Cedar Lodge. If heading South, you must pass the Bonne Terre exit and turn right just past RCL. If heading North, there is a crossover. Landmarks would be the two car dealerships; turn between Autocenters of Bonne Terre and Sparks Motors. Hope this helps for those of you not familiar with the area. The festivities will begin with dinner; meat, tea and lemonade will be provided. Please bring a dish to help support the function. Soda and alcohol will be available at the cash bar. Please be courtious and do not bring any drinks (especially alcohol) from outside. Awards will be presented to the class champions as well as recognition for the Overall Champs following dinner. Tentatively scheduled will be a 2009 BRSD outlook and possibly an induction to the BRSD Wall of Fame. More details to come over the next two weeks. As a 2008 participant, racer or staff, you are encouraged to attend this event.
