Races Cancelled for Friday and Sunday

C'mon folks, give us a break! We have busted our humps to get in what few shows we've been able to present this year but we cannot control the weather nor the damage it leaves in it's wake. We cancelled this weekend show due to only 50% of our lights were working. We were uncertain that we could repair the damage in time so we cancelled. We were at the track working Friday morning when we were rained out. IMAGINE THAT!!!!! Also, we understand the frustration that the racers and fans are experiencing but we can only ask that you understand ours as well. I'm sure it will all get better for it would be hard-pressed to get any worse.

Denny and crew, keep up the hard work ,it really shows. I think by the complaints on here that you need to walk the pits on Friday nites and complain when someones car is broke and can't make the feature or just get on here and complain! Come on racers haven't you ever been tore up and had to set out of a race? Let's hope Denny can get his electrical problems solved to go race this Friday nite!! The"Hustler"

Kenny, thanks for your post for I appreciate it very much. Suzieq, I apologize if my response seemed to be rather sharp but it was not made in anger nor was it intended to demonstrate my frustration as well. Clearly, everyone is wanting to get their race fix, including myself, and there is nobody any more disenchanted than I with the weather but there are times when we have to say "wait a minute!" The problem with the lighting system was due to a new component we had installed that was found to be manufacture defective. Nevertheless, by the time we found the problem Friday morning, it dumped tons on us early afternoon of which would have caused us to cancel anyway. As such, we are hopeful the weather will get better so we can go racing. Thanks....Denny
