After several early season rounds of wet weather forcing the cancellation of racing at Warrensburg’s Central Missouri Speedway, the racing resumes this Saturday, May 22 with the ‘Mighty’ Modifieds, ULMA Late Models, Street Stocks and B-Modifieds. CMS will honor Active Duty, Reserve, Guard and retired military members on Armed Forces Appreciation Night. Members will receive an additional discount on grandstand admission along with kids tickets for families available at Whiteman AFB. Social Networking and Bad Boy Mower’s will also be part of the program this weekend at the speedway. The following weekend highlights the first special event of the year over the Memorial Day weekend on May 28 and 29 on the fastest high-banked clay oval in the Midwest. Street Stocks will be featured on May 28 with a $1,500-to-win event, also on Friday night is the first-ever appearance of the Ozark Mountain Midget Series and night one inside-row qualifying for modifieds. On Saturday, May 29, the "Mighty Modifieds' take center stage with a $3,000-to-win, $250 to start, special feature event. Modifieds will attempt to quality the outside row to set the final starting spots for the feature along with ULMA Late Models and B-Modifieds racing for their weekly division points. Sunday night, May 30 will be the make-up date in case of inclement weather.

This weekend is the final opportunity for drivers to prepare for the initial Modified and Street Stock special of the year.
