PROMO:

This week, August 7th, 24 Raceway will be taking the night off, as previously scheduled. Racing returns next on August 14th with the annual All-Star Race following the five features of the A-Modifieds, B-Modifieds, Sportsman, Hobbly Stock and 4 cylinde Hornet classes. Each of the 5 winners of the 8-lap races for the All-Star race for all five classes will get their car's picture posted for the 2011 season on the website banner for www.24racewayinmoberly.com . The complete qualifying list of the drivers having already made the All-Star race will be available next week and will be edited that night of August 14th to include any additional entries. Those already qualified for this All-star race are those teams finishing in the top 5 in season points, along with any drivers having won a feature during the 2010 season. In addition, the driver winning the feature this next racing Saturday, along with the heat winners, will automatically qualify.

Come out and enjoy another Saturday night of stock car racing this season with all five classes on the 14th of August, where "Dirt Track Racing at its Best" will happen again at 24 Raceway, east of Moberly, Missouri on U.S. Highway 24. Admission to the grandstand will be only $10. Kids 12 and under are always free to the grandstands, so bring the family. Pit passes are $25 for this event and both the stands and pit gate will open at 4 p.m. Racing starts at 7 p.m. with hot laps at 6:15 following a short drivers' meeting.

NOTE: For all those race drivers and team owners who have not yet entered the competition at 24 Raceway this year, for this next race weekend and the rest of the season, the track membership fee is only $10 for the months of August and September. Also, 24 Raceway is completely restocked with fuel supplies, and with both the Hoosier tires, and the American Racer tires in tall and short sizes. If purchases are needed prior to race night, call the track phone of 660-269-9300 to leave a message and arrangements can be made.
