Rain Cancels O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass "Spring 50" at Florence Speedway

UNION, KY (April 14, 2007) - With a massive amount of precipitation moving through the Midwest, Series and track officials have cancelled Saturday, April 14th's O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass "Spring 50" at the Florence Speedway. Officials are currently looking at potential make-up dates for the race.

The O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Series presented by Arizona Sport Shirts was able to get Friday night's "Spring 50 Tune-Up" in the books. A stout field of 57 entries was on hand for the race with Glasgow, KY's Michael England notching his first ever Series win followed by Jerry Rice, Matt Miller, Mike Marlar, and Victor Lee.

The next events scheduled for the nation's most competitive regional racing Series will be Friday, April 20th at the Twin Cities Raceway Park and Saturday, April 21st at the Brownstown Speedway. Friday's race at Twin Cities will be a $3000 to win event and will mark the Series' first ever visit to the track. Saturday's 24th Annual Hoosier Dirt Classic at Brownstown will pay $4000 to win.
