BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (Aug. 7, 2004) Chris Mackley of Bonne Terre was the top eliminator in the Open 4x4 class at Big River Sand Drags. Mackley, who had finished second overall, defeated the first place winner, Dan Griffin, in the top eliminator race.
In Stock Buggies, Adam Smith of Fredericktown was the first place winner with Ralph Smith of Mineral Point (his father) taking second place. Ralph then knocked off Adam in the top eliminator race.
In Competition Eliminator, Steve Lanvermeier was the first place winner with second place winner Tim Dee of Bismarck taking second place and top eliminator.
In Vehicle ET, Karen Schmidt was the top eliminator and first place winner while Todd Dee of Leadwood finished in second place.
In Super Pro ATV, Chris Schmidt was the top eliminator and first place winner with Mark Dickens of Bloomsdale taking second place.
In Pro ATV, Randy Hayes of Pilot Knob finished in first place, but it was second place winner Bobby Cunningham taking the top eliminator race.
In ATV-1, Eric McCoy of Potosi was the first place winner with Allie Glatczak of Potosi taking second place and top eliminator.
In Junior ATV, Desiree Patterson-Conway of Leadwood was the top eliminator and first place winner with Jake Griffin taking second place.
