hey millsey...i'm wonderin... did you happen to notice that there were mara midgets there ,too?? you wouldn't know that by your post. i will tell ya all about it. ran 2 heats,a dash, and a 25 lap a-main.heats were won by mike hess, and joey montgomery.hess won the dash, followed by joey.hess completed the sweep by winning the a -main,followed real close by a rim riding craig carey and steve knepper. caution free feature, and by far the best race of the night. the midgets put on 1 whale of a show!!! by the way,do you hear me now, sprint fan32? THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!!!!!!

The midgets did put on a great show last night. It was fun watchin' Carey, Knepper and Montgomery racin' eachother through traffic around the cushion.

Way to go Tommy Worley on your great win. You did a great job starting in 8th place. Glad to see you bet the Montgomerys. Way to Go

Oh hun, one little fact wrong there. Hess was leading his heat when he sheared a brake rotor and ended up second. Our young friend Korey Weyant won that one.

WHAT A NIGHT!!

I first want to say CONGRATULATIONS to Jeremy Boyer on his second feature win of the season. After all the bad luck you had last year, you were bound to find your way to victory lane sooner or later. I'm proud of you. The smile on your face is priceless when you step out of that car. It's good to see you pick up your second feature win. (And, hey, Kirby was there to take pictures this time).

I would also like to give thumbs up to Billy Smith and Kenny Kennedy on their hard charge to the front after starting in the back. Powers might have won the feature, but he spun Billy in the heat race and Kennedy had motor problems. He should count his lucky stars they both started in the back. Billy and Kenny both had to run the B main, but both managed to finish in the top 10 of the feature. In fact, had it not been for that last caution, Billy would have finished second and may have even won the feature. Sorry about the bad luck both of you had Saturday night, but your charge back to the front just proves that you are both GREAT drivers. Kenny even stepped into another car and still did very well. Way to go guys!

Powers sure has lived up to his name, but literally "powering" his way to the front. The last two visits he has made to SFCR, he had taken out the lead cars. A few weeks ago, he blasted Timmy Hill and this past weekend, he did the same to Billy Smith. What a shame. These guys have drove him clean and look how he repays them. It was a demo derby in the modifieds last night. Did anyone happen to notice all the good cars that were in the B main? Such drivers as Kenny Kennedy, Billy Smith, Mike Crader, etc. Hmmmm....kinda makes you wonder.

Last, but not least, I want to say GOOD JOB to Matt Eaton. This year has been one problem after the other, but hopefully things are worked out. Keep up the hard charge you've put on these past few weeks. Your trip to victory lane will come soon (hopefully).

Good luck to all the racers next weekend, especially my favorites: Kenny Kennedy, Matt Eaton, Billy Smith, Jeremy Boyer, Casey Barnhouse, Jason Keith, Timmy Montgomery, and Bryan Matthews. :D

Thanks for the update Midget Racer

When I got the official results from SFCR, they didn't have ANY of the MARA results... I figured Wanda had them and would get them posted.... She's the best! (**** up job going on here... lol)
