Rislone USCS Modified Touring Series invades Malden's "Bootheel 200" Friday & Saturday (3/20-3/21)

Atlanta, GA - 3/18/09 - The Rislone USCS Modified Touring Series invades Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri this Friday and Saturday nights March 20th and 21st for Round Two of the 2009 Rislone Oil Stabilizer USCS Modified Thunder Tour. The two-day event for open wheel modifieds is part of the 3rd Annual Bootheel 200 Cavalcade of Racing. The Rislone USCS Modified portion of the Bootheel 200 posts a hefty top prize of $2000 with a total paycheck of $2300 available for a clean sweep.

The Bootheel 200 is headlined by a USCS double-header special event including the thundering Rislone USCS Modifieds plus the 700 horsepower Parts Plus United Sprint Car Series winged outlaw sprint cars. The two USCS series are joined on the massive racing card by five Malden Speedway weekly racing divisions. Those other divisions include the Crate Late Models $(1000 to win), Hobby ($600 to win), EMODS ($500 to win) Pure Street ($500 to win) and Mini Stocks ($200 to win).

The Pit gates open at 3:00pm on Friday afternoon with a drivers meeting at 6:15pm and racing action starts at 7:30pm. Friday night's action features qualifying rounds for the Rislone USCS Modified Series plus qualifying races in the Crate Late Model division. Friday night's format also has the Hobby, E-MODS, Pure Street and Mini Stock divisions contesting their complete series of qualifying races as well.

Several practice sessions will be available on Friday night for early arriving winged sprint cars with a full racing program on tap for the Parts
Plus USCS winged sprint cars on Saturday night.

On Saturday (March 21st) gates open at 1:00pm with the drivers meeting at 4:15pm and Racing at 6:00pm. The Rislone USCS Modified Series and all other divisions qualifying on Friday night will run their last chance races and A-Main finales on Saturday. The Parts plus United Sprint Car Series drivers will contest a complete racing program including The Parts Plus Power Dash, Qualifying Heats, B-Main and 30-laps A-Main on Saturday. Malden Speedway is located by driving two miles North of Malden on Highway 25, then West on County Road 102 also known as Thunder Road.
