BROWNSTOWN, IN (06/23/2007) - Rohn Moon of Greenwood, INoutshined the field at Brownstown Speedway to take home the win in the 9th Annual Lee Fleetwood Memorial. Moon becomes the 12th different winner out of 13 events so far on the 2007 O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Series presented by Arizona Sport Shirts when he picked up the Saturday night paycheck. The O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Series rolled into the famed short track after an unexpected Friday night off as the Twin Cities Raceway Park fell victim to Mother Nature.

After track officials delayed the night's festivities for extra track preparation in an attempt to make the night more exciting for the fans and safer for the drivers, it would be Series regulars Tim Tungate and Brian Barber leading the field to the strip. At the start of the 30 lap affair 2005 Series Co-Champion Tim Tungate jump out to an early lead as a quick battle set up between Tim Prince, Steve Barnett and Brian Barber on lap two that would see Prince steal second place. Lap two would also find Rohn Moon beginning to make his charge to the front as he would pick up two spots and swiftly move into the top five. Lap seven would show another driver beginning to make his move through the field as Marty O'Neal climbed to 7th from his 12th place on the starting grid. Tungate, Barnett, Moon, Prince, and Sheltra would round out the top five.

As Tungate brought the field around to the mark on lap 8, he would catch the tail of the field allowing Barnett and now third place Moon to begin reeling in Tungates six car length lead. Lap 9 would see the first caution of the night as Joe Godsey would loop his number machine in turn four. As the race resumed, Tungate would maintain the lead over Rohn Moon who had now moved into to second position. Tungate and Moon would battle hard until Moon would make his move coming out of four to move to the point.

At the half way point the running order would be Moon, Tungate, Barnett, Patrick Sheltra and Marty O'Neal. Lap 18 would see the first competitor exit the track for the evening as the Victor Lee would pull into the infield on the back stretch. Lap 19 would uncover the second caution of the night as Nicholasville, KY's David Webb would split the tires and hit the infield coming out of turn four. Under caution, Jeremy Masters, Shannon Reed and Michael Bradley would all head to the pit area and end their competition for the night.

On the restart, the field would be paced by Moon followed by Tungate, Barnett, Sheltra and O'Neal. Barnett and Sheltra would go door to door on lap 21 to battle for the third spot as Prince and Barber battle for sixth. Lap 23 would find the battle really heat up for second as Tungate, Barnett, Sheltra and O'Neal raced for position. On lap 25, Mike Jewell closed in on the back bumper of Prince, as Jewell would pass Prince on lap 26 to take over the sixth spot while Barnett made his move on Tungate to take over the second spot. As the race would come to the checkers on lap 30, it was all Rohn Moon in his Moon powered Rayburn to victory lane becoming 12th different winner of the 2007 tour.

Earlier in the evening, Patrick Sheltra set the standard in Racing Optic Time Trials with a fast lap of 14.051. The Arizona Sport Shirts Heats were won by Tim Prince, Tim Tungate, Steve Barnett and Brian Barber. Mike Jewell would take the point of the Design 500 B-Main. Provisionals for the 9th Annual Lee Fleetwood Memorial were Scottie Jones and Rickey Riggle
