The One / The Only
UMP LATE MODLE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR....

THE FLYIN BRIAN COLINS (MCS)
DENNY WOODWORTH (MCS)

DECISIONS....
DECISIONS.......

Not trying to be a wise acre or anything, but I distinctly remember both of those drivers racing last year. How are you considering them rookies?

The UMP newsletter has them both listed as rookies. I'd go with Collins. He's had Dixon beat at Godfrey a few times, but motor problems got him. Woodworth is good too, but Collins is my pick.

Probably the best true rookie out there would be Rick Salter. Never been in a latemodel until practice this year and is doing a whole lot considering he does not have alot of money support.

I'd have to give my vote to the Salty Dog also. Rick Salter is the true rookie in this area. 4th in points at Highland in his first year in a late model. Congats Rick.

Salty Dog definately has my vote for rookie of the year!!! He has been consistant all year. He is knocking on the door of his first win, that's for sure!!!! Congrats on a great 1st year Rick!!!

They are rookies in a latemodel. UMP conciders a rookie any one who has not raced more than ten UMP or similar latemodel races in either of the last two years.

Two thumbs up for Salty!! I dont know exactly how UMP does it but Rylan Dagg(R52) has ran a late model for at least 2 years and hes still a Rookie!! Hats off to Mike Schulte for having a good year also!!! Also Dustin Knerrer in the Sportsmans!!

Salty Dog!

It was just a matter of time till Salty got that late model figured out, and he has finished up the year pretty good for himself.
Go Salty Dog!

We are very proud to have all the contenders call Godfrey their Friday Night home track.

Salty dog has to be rookie of the year! How about the blue and orange paint job and clear roof WOW! Great run all year! It was fun to watch you race!

Brian Collins has had a very strong year. Another rookie who has done quit well....especially at Belleville is Dean Hoffman. He will be back in the Mod next year, though.

I agree the Salt Dog has to be Rookie of the Year, looked rough at the start of the season which is understandable but he's came a long ways in a short amount of time...
