VAN BUREN, Ark (May 21) – The manufacturer of IMCA’s official muffler has renewed an awards program benefitting spe¬cial events competitors.
Schoenfeld Headers of Van Buren, Ark., will give $50 product certificates to designated finishers at specials for the IMCA Modified, IMCA Late Mod¬el, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, Karl Chevrolet North¬ern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Chassis Southern SportMod divisions.
Drivers in each of those divisions, when required to run a noise reduction system of 98 decibels or more, must com¬pete with the IMCA stamped 609 Schoenfeld muffler to be eligible.
All events in the 25th anniversary Deery Brothers Summer Series for Late Models are on the list of designated specials.
Schoenfeld also manufactures headers and related exhaust components.
