SFCR Prepares For Queen's Royale Following 'Cheater Night'

FARMINGTON, Mo. -- (September 30, 2006) Jimmy Hurley captured the final sprint feature of the season prior to the annual Queen's Royale sprint car extravaganza next Saturday. Tim Montgomery settled for second place with Tommy Worley Jr. third, Joey Montgomery fourth and Ricky Logan fifth. They were followed by Tom Busch, Keith Burch, Critter Malone, Daniel Adler and Bob Thoman. Heat races were won by Robbie Standridge, Burch, Hurley and Bryan Matthews with Standridge also winning the trophy dash.
The Queen's Royale pays the winning sprint driver $6,000 and is considered one of the most important sprint car events of the season.
In the Modified class, Tim Hill was the feature winner with Jeremy Greenwalt second, Eric Mabery third, Brent Thompson fourth and Kenny Kennedy fifth. They were followed by Mike Francis, Jeff Lebaube, Derek Shipman, Tommy Worley Sr. and Erik Edgar. Thompson, Kennedy, Mabery and Hill were the heat race winners.
Mark Shirshekan was the winner of the 600cc Multi feature with Jimmy Bridgeman second, Jake Bess third, Ryan Kempin fourth and Sam Miller fifth. They were followed by Joe Miller, Lynda Blanke, Ryan Ruff, Zach Black and Brad Greer. Bridgeman and Greer were the heat race winners.
In the Pure Street class, Kasey Nations was the feature winner with Chuck Adams second, Carl Francis third, Kevin Mosier fourth and Michael Abney fifth. They were followed by Greg Stumbaugh, David Wofford, Brian Stephens, Brian Blair and Shane Blair. Abney, Nations and Adams were the heat race winners.
