Skyline is Memorial Weekend destination for World Products Empire State Series

CORTLAND, N.Y. (May 22) – Round two of the World Products Empire State Series brings IMCA Modified drivers back to one of their favorite locales.
Skyline Raceway hosts the Sunday, May 29 tour stop, the 11th visit by the series over the course of its nine-plus seasons.
Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m., the grandstand opens at 3:30 p.m. and hot laps are at 5:15 p.m. Rac¬ing starts at 6 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and students ages 10-14, and free for kids nine and under. Pit passes are $30
Sean Lias topped four of the previous 10 series features at Skyline. Kevan Cook is a two-time winner at Cortland while Dale Caswell, George Catanzano, Tommy Paige and, most recently, Lyle Smith have each won once.

Joshua Sawyer scored his career first series win in the opener last month at Black Rock Speed¬way. Eight dates are on the 2011 tour schedule.
