SMODA (Smallblock Modified Owners and Driver Association) is pleased to announce the launch of their newly redesigned website. Located at http://www.smoda.net, the new site offers the latest news and announcements concerning SMODA, and interactive Calendar that has all club meetings and activities highlighted, an interactive photo-album featuring photos from the Mel Myers Memorial race, and downloadable SMODA membership forms.

Two of the new features that are cause for the most excitement are the Classifieds section and the RaceTalk Forums section. SMODA PR Director Dave Olivieri stated, "We've wanted a workable way for our members to be able to sell their cars, engines, parts, whatever, in a way that would be accessible to the greatest amount of people. With this new classifieds package that Paul (from SteelerDirtFreak Productions) has put together, our members can easily list their items for sale in an online data base that will then be searchable by any of the major search engines.

"As for the new RaceTalk forum, SMODA has always been about community and family. Unfortunately, on many of the area racing message boards, there is not a lot of community and with some of the user names being allowed, they are certainly not family friendly. Again, Paul has created a board for us that is probably one of the nicest boards, visually, that I've seen, and it will be maintained and moderated to keep it family friendly, while being accessible to all race fans, whether they are SMODA members or not."

The new site was designed and is being hosted and maintained by SteelerDirtFreak Productions. Paul Oyler, also known as THE SteelerDirtFreak is looking forward to continuing a good working relationship with SMODA. Already a SMODA member, as well as their Photographer, Oyler said that working on the new web site, "was another way I can be involved with this great group of people. They've been so good to Deb and I, and this is a way that we can contribute a little bit back to, not only them, but to hopefully the racing community at large."
