Semo Motor Speedway is located five miles south of the Auto Tire and Parts Racepark. Semo is a 1/5th mile short track and a neat little facility. Karts and Micro Sprints run at this track throughout the spring, summer, and fall each year. We have 10 classes of Karts and three classes of Micro Sprints. This track is consider a training grounds for our up and coming young drivers that wish to pursue a career in becoming a driver in the big Sprints, Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stock classes some day. Although we do have some of the big car drivers compete in the Kart and Micro Sprint classes when their racing schedule permits. The MARA Midgets raced at Semo twiced this past summer and put on an outstanding performanance before a huge crowd. So no matter how old you are and you want to start racing and learn the basics about racing at the grassroots level Semo is where you want to be. Drivers that have started at Semo in Karts and Micro Sprints and are racing full size sprint today is Darron Clayton just for example plus many more have came up through the ranks and advanced to the big cars.
