KNOXVILLE, IA (October 23) – Sprint car racing fans will want to watch the Speed Channel Thursday night as the cable auto racing network telecasts the 42nd Annual Mopar Parts Knoxville Nationals finale.
The Speed Channel taped all the action from the August 10th racing program at sprint car racing’s premier event. The one-hour telecast will start at 11 p.m. Eastern Time.
The telecast will be the sixth of 12 Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series races the Speed Channel will telecast from the 2002 season. The O’Reilly Texas Showdown from Texas Motor Speedway (September 12th and 14th) will be telecast November 7th and December 5th. The Outlaws Championship from The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway (October 11-12) will be aired December 12th and December 26th. The Speed Channel will telecast the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series season finale (November 8-9) from Las Vegas Motor Speedway January 2nd and January 9th in 2003.
