Inside Line Promotions - MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (Jan. 15, 2019) - The great state of Texas will host one of the first speedweeks of the year in approximately one month when the 2nd annual Sniper Speed Lone Star IMCA Stock Car Tour is contested.
The spectacle features six races in eight days at four different tracks throughout the Lone Star State. Each main event pays $750 to win and the overall tour champion will net $5,000.
Abilene Speedway in Abilene hosts the opening night on Feb. 16 followed by 281 Speedway in Stephenville on Feb. 17. Boyd Raceway in Boyd showcases a doubleheader on Feb. 18-19 before Kennedale Speedway Park in Kennedale welcomes the final two races on Feb. 22-23.
Not only is the payout strong for the main event winners and champion, the top 10 in points will earn points fund money on top of approximately $40,000 in contingencies and bonuses that will be awarded.
Fans unable to attend the races will have a great opportunity to keep up on all of the action as Speed Shift TV is offering live video broadcasts from all six nights. It will be a part of the newly announced VIP subscription, which is only $40 per month.
