BRASSTOWN, NC (March 18, 2019)-The Seventh Season of the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Sunoco Race Fuels will begin on Friday March 22nd at Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Pooler, Ga. racing 40 laps for $4,000-to-win. The tour then will visit Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, Ga. on Saturday March 23rd racing 50 laps for $10,000-to-win. This will mark the first-ever visits for the tour to the Georgia tracks.
Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Pooler, Ga. will open the Spring Nationals tour on Friday March 22nd paying $4,000-to-win and $400-to-start while the Street Stocks, Sharp Mini Late Models and Amateur 4 also race that evening. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:30 pm.
The second points event of the tour will take the Spring Nationals travelers to Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA racing 50 laps for $10,000-to-win on Saturday March 23rd. This will be another first-time track for the tour. In addition to the Super Late Models, the Crate Late Models, Bombers, Pure Stock and 602 Sportsman will also be in action. The gates open at 2:00 pm on Saturday.
The tire rule for the Oglethorpe/Cochran weekend is as follows: Hoosier 1300, 1350 and 1600 along with the American Racer 44, 48 and 56 compounds.
