Action returns to the Quick-Quarter of the SpringfieldRaceway Sat Night July 24th with the city of Ozark having their night at the races.residents of Ozark need to bring proof of residence and be admitted Free in the Grandstand as the action of the Budweiser A-Mods,Reliable Chevrolet GM Performance SportMods,Wheeler Metals StreetStocks,Legends,MidWest Modz and PureStocks go to battle on the lightning fast multi-groove high-banked quarter Mile Dirt oval.

The Chase for the 2010 championship has heated-up as hot as the summer weather as 4 time and defending champion Jackie Dalton of Carthage has moved into second place in the A-Mod point standings behind Webb City hard charger Mitch Keeter while Springfield's hard charger and opening night winner Erik Maggard,Brian Green and Jody Tillman round out the top 5 with still several point races to go this season.

Springfield Veteran Wayne Graybeal and Willard's Sean Williams both suffered bad finishes allowing Lampe's Eric Tinderholt to close-up the gap.Graybeal holds a slim 10 point lead over Williams and 19 over Tinderholt as this class has brought close racing every night along with several drivers finding extra $$$ through the GM Crate 602 Motor program as $300 each points night is divided among the top 3 602 GM Performance Crate Motor.Roy Maynard,JC Morton,Billy Dalton and Larry Tindle have all shared in this program.

Ava's Jack Hamer holds a 41 point margin over defending champion robert High while Marshfield's Matt Keeth,Springfield's Randy High and Nick Whitehead battle for third place.Veteran Bob Maggard Sr helps the older race fans remember the glory days as he competes in his OK Automotive 64 Chevy just as he did in the 70's and is close to finding victory lane.

Justin Comer of Joplin holds a slim 14 point margin in the Legends division as rob Waqtson is closing quickly along with Joplin's Park Jones.The Legends show the crowd three-wide racing every Sat Night.The Speedway wishes the best to Legend Driver Bill Cotrrill of Joplin as he will miss the next few races from an injury two weeks ago.
MidWest Modz keep growing and show everyone that this class is for real as Webb City's Kaleb Copher leads the points over Stoutland's 14 year old JC Newell.Several drivers are coming out of retirement to compete again in this economical class with great talent.

Gates open at 5 with hotlaps at 6:15 and Racing at 7:15-Adult Admission is only $10 with Kids 6-12 only $5.Pitpasses are $25.
