SpringfieldRaceway To Allow IMCA Hoosier Stamped G60's At Turkey Classic In Both Modified Classes

Springfield,Mo.-With the overwhelming response to the upcoming Turkey Classic at the SpringfieldRaceway,Owners Jerry Hoffman and Doug Bland have made the following changes.

Latemodels-None $2,000 to win 200 to start-MARS Rules-Show-Me Cars recieve the weight break and bigger spoiler. $70 Entry Fee B feature drivers who don't make the feature $70 to them.

A-Modifieds-Still under USRA Rules and SpringfieldRules but the track will allow the IMCA Stamped Hoosier G60 tire to compete.No mixing and matching.Also the $50 Entry Fee for the AModifieds will include the drivers pit pass in the $1,000 to win $125 to start Feature.Last Chance event drivers not making the A Feature will recieve $50 start money.

SportMods(Or B-Mods)-SpringfieldRaceway rules.The IMCA Northern SportMods can compete running under their rules.Tires allowed will be the American Racer KK704 G60 or the IMCA Stamped Hoosier G60.The 602 Crate Motor SportMods can run a 6400 RPM Chip.There is No Entry Fee for this class,only the $35 pitpass in the $400 to win $50 to start feature.B feature money for those drivers not advancing will be $35.

Legends-no changes in the $300 to win and $35 to start feature.

Race date is set for Sat November 28th.PitGates open at 10AM,Hotlaps at 1PM with Racing at 2PM.

Passing points will be used to determine the starting line-ups for the 20 car fields.Draw will stop at 1:15.Drivers arriving after cutoff time will be placed tailback in a heat and recieve No Passing points,only the placement of where they finish in the heat.
