FARMINGTON, Mo. (March 11, 2003) - The St. Francois County Raceway continued to improve the safety factor for racers and fans alike this off-season by adding guardrails on top of the concrete walls on the back straight and through all four turns.
In other news from SFCR, an agreement between SFCR and I-55 management has been reached where SFCR will be closed during the special World of Outlaws show at I-55 Raceway on Saturday, April 12th. According to SFCR promoter Larry Minkel SFCR will remain open for the second World of Outlaws show at I-55 on July 12.
During that night of racing on July 12 at Farmington, the RAMS Mini Stocks have been added to the program.
Season tickets for SFCR are now available. Grandstand tickets are $200 and pits passes are $400. Phone (573) 756-1734.
