Stein Automotive in Belleville, Illinois will sponsor a $150 bonus to the top finishing 360 in the All Star Circuit of Champions main event September 10 at Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois.
"Mike Obst has always been a great supporter of open wheel racing and loves giving back, stated promoter Brian Thompson. "Even though the race is 100 miles from his business, he still wants to be involved."
The September 10 event will be the first appearance by the All Stars since
Danny Smith was victorious in 1996.
Nearby Jacksonville Speedway will not be running on Septmeber 10 and a large
field of cars is expected in all divisions.
600cc micro sprints paying $1000 to win and four cylinder hornets paying $500 to win will be the support divisions for the All Stars.
Spectator gates open at 5:00. Hot laps at 6:30. Racing starts at 7:30.
Adult tickets are $20. Children 7 -12 are $10. Kids 6 and under are
free.
