CLARKSVILLE, TN – Talbert Goldman used a pair of top five finishes over the weekend to move back on top of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region by one point over Herman Reynolds. Jason Wilson continues to hold a 44-point lead over Carlton Freeman in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region.

Goldman finished second to Reynolds on Friday night at Southern Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS, and then followed that up with a third-place showing on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS. Goldman now has 659 points in his best 16 finishes, while Reynolds, who finished 11th at Whynot Motorsports Park, has 658 points in his best 16 finishes.

Owen Stockstill is third in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region point standings with 592 points in his best 16 finishes. Steven Ashby was the winner on Saturday night at Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway in Clarksville, TN, and is fourth in the West Region with 572 points in 15 starts.

Another Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway driver Tony Albright is fifth with 555 points in 13 starts, and Kevin Watts is sixth with 539 points earned at Pike County Speedway in McComb, MS. Landon Frith was the winner on Saturday night at Swinging Bridge Raceway in Jackson, MS, and is in the seventh spot with 507 points in 13 starts.

Terry Mosley finished second on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park to move into the eighth spot with 470 points in 12 starts. Lucky Keeton picked up another win on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park to crack the top ten in StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region points in the ninth spot. Keeton has 447 points in just 10 starts. Jarrette Gunn dropped to the tenth spot with 442 points in 12 starts.

Wilson finished second on Friday night at Childersburg Speedway in Childersburg, AL, and has accumulated 720 points in his best 16 finishes of StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region competition. Carlton Freeman is second with 676 points in his best 16 finishes.

John Pierce posted a top five finish at Childersburg Speedway to hold the third spot in the East Region with 655 points in his best 16 starts. Logan Yates is fourth with 606 points in 15 starts, and Jimmy Elkins is fifth with 583 points in his best 16 starts. Buddy George is sixth with 550 points with his best 16 starts.

Adam Martin took the win on Friday night at Childersburg Speedway, and is seventh with 520 points in just 12 starts. Samuel Brown posted another top five on Saturday night at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Fyffe, AL, and is eighth with 453 points in 12 starts. Steve Kirk is ninth with 447 points in 13 starts, and Lee Burdett rounds out the top ten of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region with 444 points in 12 starts.

Other winners in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region action over the weekend were Doug Todd at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS, Richard Guidry taking his first win of the season at Pike County Speedway, and Roger Brewer was the winner at Thunderhill Raceway in Lawrenceburg, TN. Malden Speedway in Malden, MO was rained out on Friday night.

Kasey Hall took another East Region win on Saturday night at Thunder Mountain Speedway. Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL was off on Saturday night.

After week 16 of the 24-week StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series season, 230 different drivers have competed. A driver’s best 16 finishes count toward their Regional point total.
