CLARKSVILLE, TN – Lucky Keeton finished second on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS on Saturday night in his 16th start of the season to take over the point lead in the West Region of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series. Keeton, with 714 points, now leads Talbert Goldman by 35 points.
Goldman took the win on Friday night at Southern Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS, and finished third on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park to pick up a net gain of eight points to bring his season total up to 679 based on his 16 best finishes.
Herman Reynolds is third with 670 points based on his best 16 finishes at Southern Speedway, Whynot Motorsports Park, Pike County Speedway in McComb, MS, and Swinging Bridge Raceway in Jackson, MS.
Tony Albright was the winner on Saturday night at Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway in Clarksville, TN, and is fourth with 645 points based on his best 16 finishes. Steven Ashby finished second to Albright on Saturday night at Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway to remain in the fifth spot with 641 points based on his best 16 finishes.
Landon Frith is sixth with 625 points based on his best 16 finishes at Swinging Bridge Raceway, Pike County Speedway, and Whynot Motorsports Park. Frith did not compete this week in StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series competition.
Terry Mosley came back from a nasty flip on August 12 to take the win on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park. Mosley moved back up to the seventh spot in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region with 624 points earned in 15 starts at Whynot Motorsports Park and Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS.
Owen Stockstill is eighth with 603 points earned in his best 16 finishes at Pike County Speedway, Whynot Motorsports Park, and Southern Speedway. Roger Brewer was the winner on Saturday night at Thunderhill Raceway in Lawrenceburg, TN, and moved up to ninth with 587 points in 15 starts.
