Mother Nature continues to be a tough competitor among StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series tracks in both regions. Malden Speedway in Malden, MO had double features rained out, and will try again this Friday night. Malden Speedway has suffered through four rainouts over the past five weeks.

Other West Region tracks that were rained out over the weekend include StormPay.com Speedway, Thunderhill Raceway in Lawrenceburg, TN, Columbus Speedway, and Swinging Bridge Raceway. Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS had their season opener rained out, and they will try again this Saturday night.

Rain also spread into the East Region with Talladega Short Track looking at double feature races this Saturday night. Modoc Speedway in Modoc, SC had lightning strike their well last Friday night, which forced cancellation of the Saturday night show. Track officials said repairs would be made in time to run this Saturday night.

Also drivers that have not paid their one-time $100 2006 Membership Fee need to do so by May 22, or they may forfeit their earned points to date.
