Here's some pics of Steve Stroud flipping in 3 and 4 at Belle-Clair. After he landed he took a nasty hit from another car square on the top of the roll cage, but the dude walked away without any serious injury.

Great pictures! The car didn't look too bad after the roll either. Couldn't believe that the other car just nailed him after he sat there for a while. Looked like he was unbuckling himself just about the time that he got hit by the second car.

I watched him flip, I have issues with the track officials and flagman in this case.
Steve was stopped on the race track and I watched the flagman, he was looking in turn 1 and the green stayed out long after Steve was stopped.I have flagged races before and it is hard to see everything. I also know the MARA officials have radio contact with each other and the drivers. It is easy to sit in the stands and criticize what someone else is doing, however we were very lucky Steve was not injured.
