Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Invades Peoria for Fall Classic September 16, 17

Glasgow, KY-September 11, 2016 (www.americanmodifiedseries.com)- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will make its first-ever trip to Peoria Speedway in Peoria, IL for the track’s 2nd Annual Fall Classic on Friday September 16 ($3,000 to win) and Saturday September 17 ($5,000 to win).

The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will visit Peoria Speedway in Peoria, IL for the track’s 2nd Annual Fall Classic. The first night of the twinbill contest will take place on Friday September 16 and will feature the tour in action in a complete program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and a 40 lap, $3,000 to win/$225 to start A-Main event. Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in action at Peoria Speedway on Friday September 16 will be the track’s Late Models racing for $2,000 to win, plus action for Street Stocks and Hornets, plus there will be a live band and post-race party after racing concludes on Friday evening. The weekend concludes at Peoria Speedway on Saturday September 17 as the tour will again be in action in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 60 lap, $5,000 to win/$250 to start 2nd Annual Fall Classic A-Main finale. Joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in action on Saturday September 17 will be the track’s Late Models ($2,000 to win), along with Street Stocks and Hornets, plus there will be a drivers autograph session from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. that afternoon. Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50.

Activities for events at Peoria Speedway on Friday September 16 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 5:30 p.m., with practice set for 5:45 p.m., while time trials will get underway at 6:15 p.m., followed immediately by green flag racing. All times listed are CDT. Ticket prices for Friday September 16 in the general admission area for adults will be $20, while a pit pass will be $35.

Activities for events at Peoria Speedway on Saturday September 17 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m., with the general admission area opening at 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 4:30 p.m., with practice set to begin at 4:45 p.m. Time trials will begin at 5:30 p.m., with racing set for the green flag at 6:00 p.m. All times listed are CDT. Ticket prices for Saturday September 17 in the general admission area for adults will be $25, while a pit pass will be $40.
