SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (May 26, 2013)—Sunday’s second round of the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series and Stark Automotive Group/Mid-State Equipment Badger Midget Series co-sanctioned 11th annual Sue Thiel Memorial at Angell Park Speedway was canceled by rain.
The next event for the POWRi National Midgets is the 61st annual Hut Hundred, co-sanctioned by USAC, on Friday (May 31) at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Ill. The POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series will also be racing at the event.
Michael Pickens of New Zealand won Saturday’s opening round of the Sue Thiel Memorial. He’s also entered in the Hut Hundred.
