Sunday show at I-76 Speedway next for Larry Shaw BST IMCA Modifieds

FORT MORGAN, Colo. (April 19) – The second installment of the Larry Shaw Racing Blood, Sweat and Tears Colorado Series takes the IMCA Modified tour to I-76 Speedway this Sunday, April 25.

I-76 opens the 2010 season with its annual Ice Breaker special and the $1,000 top prize for Modifieds makes the Fort Morgan feature a qualifier for this year’s Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. All applicable IMCA points will be awarded.

Pit gates and the grandstand open at 10:30 a.m. Hot laps follow the 12:30 p.m. drivers’ meeting and racing starts at 1 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors 62 and over and $4 for kids 6-12. Youngsters five and under get in free.

2008 BST champion David Murray Jr. topped the series opener April 11 at Colorado Motorsports Park to up his tour career leading win total to 28. The third of eight scheduled Colorado races is Sunday, May 30 at Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke.

The series then returns to Fort Morgan on June 5.
