COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 23) – Drivers in the IMCA Modified and IMCA Late Model divisions winning local track championships this season may be eligible to receive 2012 competitor’s licenses from SuperFlow.
Track champions who purchased a dyno pull from an authorized test center equipped entirely with SuperFlow engine dynos and who displayed two SuperFlow decals on their race car get licenses for next season. They will also be required to fax a copy of their authorized dyno sheet to Marketing Director Kevin Yoder at the IMCA home office.
"It is important for drivers and machine shops to note that in 2011, only shops with 100 percent SuperFlow engine dynos will qualify,” emphasized Yoder. “Shops using SuperFlow Controls Systems on other makes of dynos will not be considered for driver licensing qualifications. Drivers should check with their engine builders to make sure they are eligible."
The Colorado Springs, Colo.-based flowbench and dynamome¬ter manufac¬turer originally introduced the unique program for Modified track champions, expanding it to include Late Model track champions last year.
