Chattanooga/Ringgold (10/15/10) --- In what started back in August, THE SKIPPER: Skip Arp (# 97) of Georgetown, TN pocketed his third consecutive Super Late Model feature win Friday night at BOYD's SPEEDWAY. All four of Arp's SLM wins this season have come at Boyd's and Friday nights FALL BRAWL $3,000 payday will sit well with the fan favorite veteran. Arp got the lead at the halfway point of the 40 lapper, when leader Billy Ogle Jr. (# 201) all but stalled (dead in the water) on the front straight-away. Arp drove rite by and would win over a hard chargin Chris Wall (# 71) who came to life late in the event. Ogle, would finish third, just inches ahead of Tim Busha (# 15) and Ronnie Johnson (# 5) at the finishline.

"This is really special to come here and be this good..." stated Arp after climbing outta the darker # 97 "Stanley Best Heating & Air, C.A.R, Curtis Equipment & Sales, MidNite Oil Racing Fuel, Merriman Excavating" sponsored GRT racecar in Jody Millard Pest Control Victory Lane. "This car of Bobby's (Giffin) is rite, I don't think we'd gotten by Billy if he wouldn't had that problem at halfway, we kept pushin everytime I get to him, but we'll take it." Arp concluded by thanking the fans for attending with the temperatures dropping and the nights get continuingly cooler.

At racetime 35-Super Late Models signed in with Louisiana's Scott Creel (# 31) setting fast-time clocking a 14:296 lap. This would stage four (4) heat races for preliminary action for the fans. Jake Knowles (# 66) would win heat # 1, but the features invert would sit the Tyrone, GA racer on the 4th starting grid. Ogle Jr would take heat #2 also from the cat-birds seat, beating polesitter Eric Wells (# 18) from Kentucky. Second overall fastest qualifier Arp showed the way in heat #3 and in the fourth and final prelim., it would be Alabama's Anthony Burroughs (# 121) defeating THE INTIMAGATOR Wall. B-Main's were won by Skylar Marlar (# 257) and David Earl Gentry (# D1) as 22-cars started the "A" Main feature.

Burroughs and Ogle Jr. brought the field down to the green flag for the start of the 40-lapper and Ogle would lead lap 1. The races first yellow would wave on the lap 2, as Mark Vineyard spun solo in turn two. Third starting Skip Arp would take over second on the restart with Ogle Jr. leading. Series points leader Mike Weeks pulled out of action on the 8th lap while the leaders would start to work lap traffic on lap 9. Once Ogle Jr. lost power and handed Arp the lead, caution would wave reappear on lap 24 when Ross White would spin in turn two and scrape Todd Morrow. Late in the race Wall would get around Busha for third and set his sights on Ogle. On lap 37 Wall would slip past Ogle Jr. but it would be too late to track down Arp. A close finish among Ogle, Busha and Johnson would bring fans to their feet for the final time at the finishline.
