Rocket1 Racing Invades PPMPS with LOLMDS this Friday and Saturday
SHINNSTON, W.Va. (09/30/24) – After slipping back in the running order early in Wednesday’s Castrol FloRacing Night in America feature presented by Kubota at Brownstown Speedway, Tim McCreadie rallied late to record a podium finish with his Valvoline / Seubert Calf Ranches No. 1 Rocket1 Racing / Ace Metal Works / XR1 Rocket Chassis / Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model.

McCreadie climbed to a third-place finish in what proved to be his only event of the week after the scheduled Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) weekend at the Indiana oval was washed away by the remnants of Hurricane Helene.

“It’s great that I was able to get back to third by the checkered flag, but honestly we had a much better car than that. I just made a couple of mistakes early that cost us track position. Once I got to rolling there, this new XR1.2 was spot on. I hate I cost us early, but again a big shoutout goes out to this entire Rocket1 Racing team and this new race car we have. No shortage of speed for us right now,” McCreadie shared.

Tim McCreadie and Rocket1 Racing were one of 37 teams entered at Brownstown (IN) Speedway on Wednesday afternoon for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America event.

After driving from fifth-to-second in his eight-lap heat race, McCreadie muscled forward two more spots in the 50-lap feature to bring home a third-place finish. He trailed Hudson O’Neal and Tanner English to the checkers with Devin Moran and Ross Robinson rounding out the Top-5.

McCreadie and the Rocket1 team have climbed to sixth in the latest Castrol FloRacing Night in America point standings.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned Jackson 100 weekend scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Brownstown (IN) Speedway fell to inclement weather.

Full results from Wednesday's event are available at www.FloSeries.com.

With last week’s first two Big River Steel Chase for the Championship presented by ARP events nixed by rain, McCreadie now begins his pursuit of his third-career LOLMDS title this Friday and Saturday at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway during the 36th annual Pittsburgher presented by Big River Steel.

Friday’s opening round posts a $10,000 winner’s check, while Saturday’s finale will see a $50,000 top prize up for grabs.
