Titan Tire & Wheel special June 28 at Quincy Raceway

QUINCY, Ill. – IMCA Late Models will battle for $3,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start at Quincy Raceway’s annual Titan Tire and Wheel Shootout on Sunday, June 28.

Non-qualifiers for the top-paying event of the weekly Late Model season get $100. IMCA national, Smiley’s Racing Products State and local track points will be awarded for the topless event.

Twenty-four cars will start the 50-lap main event. Lineups for the heats will be determined by draw, while the starting grid for the feature will be by passing points.

Entry fee is $50 and pit passes are $25.

Pit gates open at 3 and the grandstands open at 5 p.m. The draw ends and the drivers’ meeting begins at 5:45 p.m. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 6:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $7 for teens ages 11-15 and kids 10 and under get in free. A family pass (two adults and two teens) will be sold for $35, a $9 savings.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are also on the program racing for $400 to Win, along with UMP Modifieds for $500 to Win and Hobby Stocks for $250 to Win..
