As of January 5th my son, Christopher Pettus, driver of the #92 ministock will be deployed. He first goes to Fort Riley then to Iraq. He will be stationed overseas for 1 year to 18 months. His wedding dated for June 5,2004 was moved up and he married Stephnie Knox on December 22, 2003. He loved racing and will miss all of his friends and competitors.

Hi Ed

Tell Chris that I'll be thinking of him and God Bless. I know I'll be missing him at the track this year, but he will be in all our hearts and prayers.

I hope that we'll still see you at the track this season. Let me know if you need any help with anything, and certainly stop by and say "hi" if you're at the track!

Chris will be missed while he is overseas. Chris is a great competer on the track and a great friend off the track. Chris is one of the people that organized the "Racing for Regan" out at Doe Run and that tells you a lot about Chris, that he is always willing to help others. Be safe Chris and hurry up and get back here. Your groupies are gonna miss you.

Chris

Good luck Chris we will miss you this season. But we will be thinking of you while we race. But we will have more races when you get back take care.

Hey it's Chris

Hey this is chris. I just wanted to thank all of you for all of your support. It really helps. I'll miss all you guys at the track this and part of next year. But good luck to everybody, be safe, have fun, and most importantly go fast, turn left. Thanx.
Peace out
Chris

P.S. hey mike will you take care of my groupies for me.
Thanx for everything you've been a real good friend.

Congrats to Chris & Stephnie on your wedding

Chris,
It is never easy leaving our family to serve, but I'm sure you will make us proud. Remember for all them hard and lonely times "GOD" will be there with you, all you have to do is ask.

GOD bless you and your family & we will see you when you get back!

P.S. I'll keep a special place just for you on my front bumber, HA! HA! ;)
