LAST YEAR WAS AN IMPROVEMENT OVER THE YEAR BEFORE AND BY THE SOUNDS OF THINGS THERE WILL BE LOTS OF IMPROVEMENTS THIS YEAR...

GLAD TO HEAR THE BLEACHERS ARE GETTING FIXED.. WE BRING 82 AND 83 YEAR OLD PARENTS THAT LOVE TO GO TO THE RACES..THE BLEACHERS WERE A LITTLE SCAREY..

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE VANDALS... THAT IS TERRIBLE..............

JUST A SUGGESTION..... WITH HOW DUSTY IT TENDS TO GET AT MT. VERNON WOULD YOU EVER CONSIDER GOING TO BOTTLED WATER AND POP?? THE PAPER CUPS TEND TO FILL WITH DIRT: ... ... THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD LAST YEAR..

also topdog, a few of us (including rodney's sister) where just wondering if everything has gotten fixed yet and how is it looking for opening this saturday(besides the weather)?
 
Yes, we still have alot of work to do. We repalced 85 boards in the bleachers, we have replaced the guard rail in turn 1, your suggestion on water bottles, we do carry bottled water. Bottled soda is too expansive to try & sell at at racetrack. We do have styrofoam cups with lids. As far as racing this weekend, the onlt thing that i see that might keep us from racing would be mother nature herself. We are currently working on the Pa system, and doing some painting tommrow & friday. Everyting is starting to look good, have all the water lines put back in that the vandals tore out, have soda machines replaced, the only thing that might not be ready this week would be the go cart track. Thank you, Rick Heck
 
Any decision about season tickets?? We go every Saturday night and love sitting in the same place. Just doesn't feel right if we sit anywhere else. Thanks
